WORKSHOP How to exhibit moving images/exposer les images en mouvement :

A theoretical workshop conducted by Belgian art historian Philippe Dubois will study the question: «How to exhibit moving images»; this workshop is part of a whole program including a series of conferences, a special course by Philippe Dubois and a final exhibition in 2002, organised in partnership by the HEAA (Haute Ecole des Arts Appliqués) of Geneva, the Mamco and the Centre for Contemporary Images.

The workshop gathers curators, critics and artists, a.o: Pierre Bismuth, Ana Torfs, Marie José Burki, artists; Sarat Maharaj, Nicolas Bourriaud, Hans-Rudolf Reust, critics; Alain Fleischer, Bernhard Fibicher, Stéphanie Moisdon Trembley, curators. Animation: Philippe Dubois, Martine Béguin.
To participate in the workshop, registration is compulsory; a participation fee will be asked; all sessions are in French, with exceptional translation into English; alle information can be obtained at the Biennial Office.
