The international competition is a selection of the best video works produced between '96 and '97. Revealing new trends and new artists, it provides a horizontal cross section of current video creation. Among the 600 videos which reach Geneva, 40 are selected.
A jury of international personalities from the world of art will award several prizes. The winning works are also acquired for the Public Media Library of Saint Gervais Geneva's Centre for Contemporary Images.
The jury is composed of acclaimed personnalities: President Christian Bernard (F), Charles Esche (GB), Georges Heck (F), Lynne Cooke (USA), Eva Keller (CH).
